I see every outfit I put together as a challenge. My favorite challenge in the winter is taking summer dresses and making them winter friendly.

Creating the Look:
Of course this look started with the dress. I wanted the dress to stand out, so blazers and jackets were eliminated because the would cover the dress. This season, 90s trends are big and I've been obsessed with this trend. For this outfit, I was inspired by the school girl trend of the 90s, hints the nearly shapeless dress. To go along with this trend, I layered under the dress versus over it. The turtleneck was a perfect way to highlight the bustier design of the dress. I wore black, chunky heels to continue that 90s feel. To contrast the "good girl" school look, I completed the look with a deep lip and rhinestone earrings. The lipstick turned around the "good girl" idea because of its semi-gothic color. The earrings went against the "girl" idea because a mature woman is more likely to wear a dangly, rhinestone earring.
