denim denim...denim

My job doesn't allow jeans but they gave us a denim day so I went denim crazy. I'm a sucker for denim on denim so when I decided to do a denim on denim on denim outfit, I nearly had a fashiongasm. 

Creating the Look:

Well this look started with the denim...obviously. I started with the wide leg jeans. Since this look was for work, I wanted to wear a more formal pair of jeans. Because I have a slight denim on denim addiction, I added a denim button up. The jeans and button up were similar colors so I needed a jacket to break up the solid color. I went to my closet and it was like a light shined on my dark denim jacket. It was perfect because it offered the look a different color but kept it interesting by adding another denim. Finally, I decided to add things that weren't denim. I added color to the look by wearing a bright orange coat. Nothing goes better with orange than leopard, so I wore a leopard clutch. I love denim because its a great neutral that goes with anything, which is why I was able to add the coat and clutch. This outfit doesn't just show my addiction but it shows how to do excess in a chic way.
